Who we are

Chancellor Hattersley Lloyd is created through the merger of Chancellor Equity Management Pty limited and Hattersley Lloyd & Co Pty Limited from January 2005. This merger brings together two similar businesses with the benefits of synergy and the desire to create greater depth in advisers and administration staff to further ensure continuity of the services provided to clients.

Chancellor Equity Management, the previous name for Chancellor Hattersley Lloyd, was established in July 1995 as a joint venture by Bridgeport - Advisers & Asset Managers Pty Limited (previously the Chancellor Investment Group Pty Limited) and Vielun Pty Limited. Chancellor was established to provide clients with a complete personal service allowing individual management of their share portfolios. Chancellor Equity Management Pty Limited was incorporated in June 1997.

Vielun, through its principals John and Gillis Broinowski, has administered a number of individual equity portfolios for over 30 years. Simon Cooper has worked in the securities industry for 40 years, which includes investment management and sharebroking experience.

Hattersley Lloyd & Co Pty Limited has proved investment advice to clients for seven years and the principals, Richard Hattersley, James Lloyd and Sabrina Darling, each have over 20 years experience in the securities industry.

Chancellor Hattersley Lloyd executives are Representatives of Chancellor Equity Management Pty Limited (AFS Licence No. 241429).

Portfolios under advice in the merged company currently have a collective market value of approximately $200 million as at December 2004.
